Archives

Archives as a result of research and study or as an existing record of history have often been the driving force for the creation of new works. A basic common point is the fact that Markos Kampanis often paints after researching in archives, libraries or the internet, but also creates his own “archives” in physical or digital form on subjects that concern him in order to use them creatively in his art.
